1. Introduction and acceptance

By using valeriedubuc.net (the "Website"), booking a reading, or buying any product or course, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.

The Website and services are provided by Valerie Dubuc, operating as Clarity Beyond the Chaos and/or Valerie Dubuc ("we," "us," "our").

Please read these terms with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

2. Nature of our services and disclaimer

We offer spiritual readings, mediumship, spirit guide connection sessions, and related courses and digital products. These services are intended for spiritual insight, personal reflection, and entertainment purposes.

Our services are not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing we provide should be treated as medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified professional for those matters, and never delay or ignore professional advice because of something shared in a reading.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away.

Spiritual information is interpreted in good faith, but we cannot guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or any specific result. Messages from spirit guides or loved ones are received and shared as we perceive them.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book a reading or buy products from us. By booking or buying, you confirm that you are 18 or older and able to enter into a binding agreement.

4. Bookings, payments, cancellations and refunds

Booking and payment. Readings are booked through the Website valeriedubuc.net. Full payment is due at the time of booking unless we agree otherwise. Prices are listed in USD and may change at any time, but a change will not affect a session you have already paid for.

Session format. Readings take place by phone / video call / in person, as described on the booking page. You are responsible for a working phone or internet connection. Time lost to technical problems on your side cannot be added to the session.

Rescheduling. You may reschedule once at no charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Contact us at valerie@valeriedubuc.net

Cancellations by you.

24 hours' notice or more: full refund or credit toward a future session.
Less than 24 hours' notice: no refund.
No-shows, or arriving more than 15 minutes late: the session is forfeited and not refunded.

Cancellations by us.

If we need to cancel or reschedule, you may choose a new time or a full refund.

Completed readings.

Because a reading is a personal service of time and energy, completed sessions are not refundable, including if the reading did not meet your expectations or a particular spirit did not come through.

5. Your responsibilities and free will

You are fully responsible for your own choices, actions, and their results, including any decisions you make after a reading or course. Spiritual guidance is offered to support you, not to decide for you.

We do not promise any particular outcome, such as contact with a specific person or spirit, a prediction coming true, or a change in your circumstances. The future is shaped by free will and can change.

Please be respectful during sessions. Abusive or threatening behavior will end a session without a refund.

6. Courses and digital products

Personal license. When you buy a course, guide, recording, or other digital product (for example, How to Connect With Your Guides Using Signs), you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own learning.

You may not copy, share, resell, record, publish, or distribute any course material, or share your login, without our written permission.

Access. Access lasts for lifetime of the course unless stated otherwise at purchase. We may update course content over time.

Refunds. Because digital products can be accessed immediately, all sales are final. If you have a technical problem accessing your purchase, contact us and we will help resolve it.

Courses share spiritual teachings and practices. Results vary from person to person, and the disclaimer in Section 2 applies.

7. Confidentiality and recordings

What you share in a reading is kept confidential. We will not share your personal details or the content of your session with anyone without your consent, except where the law requires it or someone's safety is at serious risk.

You may record your own session for personal use only. Recordings may not be published or shared publicly without our written permission.

8. Intellectual property and use of the Website

All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, videos, course materials, and the name Clarity Beyond the Chaos, belongs to us or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it for commercial purposes without our written consent.

Testimonials. If you send us feedback or a testimonial, you allow us to share it on the Website and social media. We will use only your first name or initials unless you agree otherwise, and you may ask us to remove it at any time.

Acceptable use. You agree not to misuse the Website, including by attempting to hack it, spread harmful code, or post unlawful or offensive content.

Third-party links. The Website may link to other sites or services, such as booking or payment providers. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

9. Limitation of liability and right to refuse service

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Website, a reading, a course, or any decision you make based on them. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your misuse of our services or breach of these terms.

We may decline or end a session at our discretion, for example if we feel a reading would not serve you or the energy is not right. In that case, you will receive a full refund for any unused portion.

10. Governing law, changes and contact

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Ohio, USA. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Montgomery County, Ohio.

Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Website or our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Severability. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
